pitcher: add cran-raspberry drink,
white grape juice and syrup. Stir until
well mixed.
CHOCOLATE CALIENTE
(Hot Cocoa)
For 4 cups use:
4-6 ounces of dark un-
sweetened chocolate 4 cups of milk.
Combine the chocolate and
the milk in a heavy saucepan.
Simmer over low heat, stirring
constantly, until the mixture Is
well blended and begins to
thicken. Do not boil. With a
whisk, beat the chocolate until it
is foamy. Pour into mugs. Top
with a pinch of cinnamon and
serve immediately.

2 TBS sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp anise seeds, crushed
1/2 tsp baking powder
some milk
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp grated lemon rind
1 egg. beaten
2/3 cup honey
1 stick butter, melted
Combine the flour, sugar,
baking powder, anise, lemon
rind.
Stir In 1/2 the melted butter,
egg and enough milk to make a
dough. Place on a floured sur-
face and knead until smooth.
Let rest 10 mlnutes.
Divide the dough Into 36
pieces. Roll each piece Into a 5"
circle and place between wax
paper until all pieces are rolled
out.
Fry in 1" of oil at about 375
degrees. Fry several at a time,
about 30 seconds each side.
Drain on paper towels. Store in
tins for later use or freeze.
To Serve: heat the honey and
butter {the 1/2 stick} together,
allowing it to bubble about 1
minute. Cool slightly and pour
over the bufieulos to serve.
(For a speedy method use pre-
pared bread dough and add the
flavorings and apices to the
honey and butter mixture.)
