For the past two years the Division of Continuing Educa- tion at Bluefield State College has offered the opportunity to visit a number of countries throughout the world by way of the Travel and Adventure Film Series presentations. The all new Travel and Adven- ture Fihn Series will feature full- length motion pictures on such places as Israel Finland. Italy, Ecuador and Germany. The films will provide area residents the opportunity to experience world travel and adventure from their own reserved seat at Blue- field State College Basic Science building auditorium. Each fihn presentation will be accompanied by a guest speaker who appears in person to share the "inside story" of each coun- try. Millions of people across the United States and Canada enjoy the travelogue experience each year. They come for a taste of world culture and the opportu- nity to revisit places they have been or have dreamed about. On Monday, October 8 the West Virginia School for the Deaf in Romney, will host the fifth annual College Fair which will begin at 9 a.m. and conclude at 3:30 p.m. Colleges, vocational-technlcal schools, and vocational rehabili- tation programs that provide services and programs for the hearing impaired have been in- vited. Schools from throughout the United States will be partici- paring. In addition, representa- tives of area companies and businesses that offer employ- ment opportunities for the hear- ing impaired will be present. Hearing impaired students in schools for the deaf and county school programs, parents, voca- tional rehabilitation counselors, and school personnel are invited to participate in the College Fair. Information about the various programs and financial aid will be available. During the morning hours Invited school will give in- dividual presentations on pro- gram offerings, majors, college life, school and program costs, and financial aid including scholarships, grants, and loans.
