Michael Chambers of Renick be-
gan his term as president of the
Concord College student body at
the conclusion of the spring semes-
ter. The senior Commercial Art/Ad-
vertising major was elected in April.
He completed a term in 1989-90
as a member of the Student Gov-
ernment Association (SGA) Board of
Directors, and has been on the
Dean's List in each of the last four
semesters. He also has received an
art talent scholarship and is a mem-
ber of the Concord Advertising
Group and the Pi Kappa Phi social
fraternity.
He is well known on campus as a
cartoonist for the student newspaper
The Concordian.
His parents, Drs John and Nancy
Chambers, work at the West Virginia
School of Osteopathic Medicine in
Lewisburg. He is a graduate of
Greenbrier East High School.
Regarding his priorities as SGA
president, Mr Chambers said, "1 plan
