Concord Grads' Names Told Concord College completed its 115th academic year May 12, with Commencement ceremonies in Centennial Hall on the Athens cam- pus. The class of 1990 was con- gratulated by Concord President Jerry L. Beasley; Dr Joseph F.. Marsh and Arthur G. Fields of the state higher education Board of Di- rectors; Dr Walter E. Klingensmith, Chairman of the College Board of Advisors; Dr David Bard, President of the Faculty; and James W. McNeely, President of the Concord College Alumni Association. Each graduating senior was indi- vidually announced by Dr John P. Carrier, Vice President and Aca- demic Dean, and degrees were con- ferred by Dr Beasley. Diplomps were presented by Registrar Ray Mull. March music was provided by the Concord College Band under the direction of Douglas Overmier. The invocation and benediction were given by Dr William E. Haft.
