of the program.base rent on the ten-
ants~ incomes, Eligible single low-in-
come persons in Greenbrier County
have annual incomes between
$2,000 and $11,340 per year, ac-
cording to Mr Eslinger. The range ~s
slightly higher for couples.
The basic monthly rent for each
apartment at Morgan Manor is $252,
Mr Eslinger said. Through the rental
assistance program, most occu-
pants will pay between $75 and
$100, he added.
Mr EsJinger said, "We felt the
Lewisburg area would be a good
place for a facility like this. There's
an aging population there, and it's a
nice, historic area."
The building contains three
floors, with sixteen apartments on
the third floor and eight apartments
on both the second and first floors.

CAN FUNERAL DECI$1ON
BE MADE WISELY UNDER
STRESS?
Not always * which is why we
recommend planning your own
funeral.
Caught up in grief and stress,
some people may be emotionally
unable to cope with making fu-
neral arrangements effectively.
They may be tempted to proceed
with more costly arrangements
than they should. It should be
noted that the psychological value
of the funeral has no relationship
to its costs.
Planning such arrangements
may eliminate the possibility of
such over-spending. Planning can
be accomplished in advance of
need, in an atmosphere un-
charged with the emotionally
distressing circumstances of
bereavement. For details of
planning funerals, call us - or stop
by for more information.
Your questions and com-
ments on this and other subjects
are welcome...in private or
publicly through this column.
