April 15, at 7 p.m. On Easter Sunday, sun- rise services will be held at 7 a.m., followed by breakfast in the Fellowship Hall. Easter morning services begin with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m., followed by morning wor- ship at 10:45 a.m. There will be no Sunday evening services. Roy Barber Jr. Is the church's pas- tor. WSS Baptist Church The White Sulphur Springs Baptist Church, located at 120 Willow Street, behind the post omce in White Sulphur Springs, announces its Easter Sunday services and activities. A break- fast will be held at 7 a.m., served by the men of the church. Com- munion will be served at 8 a.m., followed by Sunday School at 9:45 a.m, The morning worship service will begin at 11 a.m. There will be no Sunday night worship service.The church's pastor is Delbert Walker. St. Andrew's Catholic Church St. Andrew's Catholic Church of Union will conduct its annual Easter service at 1:30 p.m. Easter Sunday Father Matthew Rowgh is the pastor. New Covenant Sanctuary The New Covenant Sanctuary (Church of God), located at 124 Goheen Street, Fairlea, will have its annual Easter Cantata April 19 at 6 p.m. The public is invited to hear the performance by the church's sanctuary choir. S. 60 east in Lewisburg, April 19 at 6:30 a.m. Reverend Freddie Steel will de- liver the message. The Fullen Family of Union will provide mu- sic. The event is Co-sponsored by the Eastern Greenbrier Minis- tertal Association and Greenbrler Memorial Gardens. Coffee and doughnuts will be served. John Wesley Methodist Holy Week services for John Wesley United Methodist Church. Foster Street in Lewis- burg will begin with services set Thursday, April 16, and Good Friday, both at 7 p.m. A sunrise service is scheduled Easter morning at 6:30 a.m., fol- lowed by the regular worship service at I I a.m. The John Wesley Choir will present an Easter musical at 6 p.m., Easter evening. Sunrise Chapel United Methodist Sunrise Chapel United Meth- odist Church of Clintonville is conducting Holy Week services now through April 17 at 7:30 p.m. nightly. Clyde Gum is the pastor. The drama is based on Leonardo DeVinci's painting of Jesus and His 12 disciples prior to the cruci- fixion. Renick Presbyterian Parish The Presbyterian churches of the Renick Par- Ish (Frankford Presbyterian at Frankford, Spring Creek Presbyterian at Renick, and Wood- land Presbyterian Church Auto) invite the com- munlty to share in their celebration of Holy Week under the leadership of their new pastor, Ray Gau. Maundy Thursday services will be April 16. 7:30 p.m. with a communion service at Frankford Presbyterian Church. A Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be held April 17, 7:30 p.m., at the Spring' Creek Presbyterian Church in Renick. The parish's Easter sunrise service will take place April 19, 6 a.m. at Woodland Presbyterian Church in Auto. A pancake breakfast will be served at the church following the worship serv- Ice. Trinity United Methodist A Maundy Thursday service, with a depiction of Leonardo DaVinct's IJ~st Supper scene, will be held April 16, 7:30 p.m., at Trinity United Meth- odist Church in Ronceverte. Men of Trinity and Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist churches will portray Jesus and the twelve apostles. Each of the apostles will speak briefly about himself before he is seated at the table to strike the famous pose of DaVinci's painting. The Trinity choir will provide special music. Holy Communion will be ,served to all who wish to receive it. Reverend Mark Flynn, pastor of Trinity and Elizabeth Chapel, Is the writer of the program. Mary Glover is the director. Costumes were made by Diane Flynn. Easter Sunday worship will be held at Trinity church April 19, at the 11 a.m. service. Trinity church is located at the corner of Wal- nut Street and Pocahontas Avenue, two blocks north of the Ronceverte Public Library. Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist The children and youth of Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist Church near Organ Cave will be in charge of this year's Easter Sunrise service at Elizabeth Chapel on Easter Sunday, April 19, at 6 a.m. The public is invited to attend the service, which is sponsored by Trinity and Elizabeth Chapel United Methodist churches. Following the service, breakfast will be served. An offering will be received at the breakfast. Regular morning worship services will also be held at Elizabeth Chapel at 9:15 a.m. with the pastor, Reverend ]Hark Flynn. preaching.
