Cemetery, Cornell, Illinois.

Springs Nursing Home after a long ill-
ness.
He was a lifelong resident of Clintonville
and a member of James Chapel United
Methodist Church, Clintonvilte. He was a
charter member of Clintonville Ruritan
Club and a retired farmer,
Surviving: wife, L. Prudence Piercy;
daughters, Barbara Stump of Clintonville,
Janet McNeel of Hillsboro; sons, James
W. of Elkview, C. C. "Pete" of Clinton-
ville; brother, A K. of Fairlea; 15 grand-
children; two great-grandchildren.

Methodist Church, with Reverend B B
Mitchum, Reverend Leroy Crane and
Reverend Garland Groves officiating
Burial was in the church cemetery. Ar-

Perry, 82, died March 5, 1990, at the
home of a daughter, in Lakeland, Florida,
following a long illness
Born December 23, 1907. at Alvon, he
was the son of the late James and Annie
Monohan Tyler Perry.
Mr Perry attended the Little Creek Pres-
byterian Church and was a retired
farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Edna Wade Perry in 1959.
Survivors include two daughters, Fay
Gearhart of Lakeland and Beatrice
Stephenson of Fairfax, Virginia; a sister,
Della Childers of Roanoke, Virginia; four
grandchildren and one great-grandchild
Services were at Shanklin Funeral Home
Chapel in White Sulphur Springs with
Reverend Leroy Crane officiating. Burial
was in Alvon Presbyterian Church
Cemetery.

erte and a member of Mount Pleasant

Surviving: husband, Mark H. Smith Jr;
stepsons David of Manassas, Virginia,
Mark E. of Doylestown, Pennsylvania;
sister, Jenny Miller of Clairton, Pennsyl-
vanta; brother, Larry Sterns of Clairton:
five grandchildren
Service was at Wallace-Wallace Funeral
Home, Ronceverte, with Reverend Youel
Altizer officiating. Burial was in Riverview
Cemetery, Ronceverte.

long illness.
Born April 21, 1905, at Friars Hill, she
was the daughter of the late George N.
and Minnie McMillion Lewis
She was preceded in death by her first
husband, Ev Snedegar, 1943; a son, Bu-
rel Snedegar; a daughter, Phyllis Snede-
gar; her second husband, Ernest Snede-
gar, 1967, and four brothers, Sammie,
Jess, Walter and Harry Lewis.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs
Claude (Hilda) Ray and Mrs Grover
(Jean) Dixon, both of Friars Hill; a son,
Ev Snedegar of Richmond, Virginia; a
sister, Pearl Faulknear of Ronceverte; 12
grandchildren and 19 great-grandchil-
dren
Services were at McCraw Funeral Home
Chapel ~n Lewisburg with Reverend Le-
roy Crane officiating. Burial was in
McMillion Cemetery at Friars Hill.

She was a retired beautician, a member

Gray and Thelma Vass, both of White
Sulphur Springs, Hatlie Owens of Rupert;
a brother, John Ayers of Erwin, Tennes-
see.

Born April 5, 1923, at Sweet Chalybeate,
Virginia, she was the daughter of the late
Seth and Edna Carter Sively.
Mrs Withrow was a member of the Sa-
lem Presbyterian Church at Organ Cave
and a member of the Circle No 3 of the
church.
She was preceded in death by her hus-
band Lance Withrow in 1986.
Survivors include one brother, George
W Sively of Organ Cave.
Services were at Salem Presbyterian
with Reverend Doyle Kester and Gary
Storm officiating. Burial was in Salem
Presbyterian Church Cemetery at Organ
Cave.
