bers of the Circuit Riders and play an integral role in the success
of the meetings and events. Cindy Hylton (left, front) has b)een
very invested in creating the scholarship fund as a way of homer-
ing the men who created this local organization. Her husband,
James Hylton (left, rear), is currently organizing the role of bocal
CMA members in the Kyle Petty event and ride coming to White
Sulphur Springs this summer. He is also the Chapter Chaplain
and creates and shares a relevant devotion at all of the chapter
meetings along with a prayer for the needs of the group andl the
community.

On Feb. 7, the Greenbrier
Valley Circuit Riders iaeld their
monthly meeting at Shoney's
in Lewisburg. The scholarship
committee is gearing up to re-
view scholarship applications
submitted by sfudents in the
four local high schools The
scholarship will be in the
amount of $500 and will be pre-
sented at the assembly at
Greenbrier East toward the
end of the .school year.
The Chapter Officers plan to
attend the Seasons of Refresh-
ing annual workshop on Sat-
urday, Feb. 23, in Buchannon
in order to grasp the vision of
the organization for the com-
ing year. For anyone in the com-
munity that enjoys riding their
motorcycle with the Chapter
for the annual Run for the Son
fund-raiser ride, it will be on
May 3; ride details will follow
as we approach that day.
We invite anyone in the com-
munity with a desire to share
the Gospel with people through
Marlinton Woman's Club tours 911
them on the progress of the 911
addressing effort.
Following the tour, the group
held its regular monthly meet-
ing where they voted to make a
donation of $100 to the
Pocahontas County Veteran's
Honor Corps to help them pur-
chase grave marker flags for
the county's cemeteries. They
also pledged $200 to the
Marlinton Middle School to-
wards bringing a Latin Ameri-
can Dance Group to perform for
the community.
In other business, the Club
welcomed six new members;
Louise Barnisky, Laura Dean
Bennett, Shirlene Groseclose,
Rosemary McQuain, Cynthia
Sabota and Linda Spencer.
